About the Author
I’m Lakshan Perera, a 21 year old dude from Sri Lanka. I have a strong passion for internet related stuff, ever since I designed my first web site back in 1999. Currently I’m reading for my Bachelors in IT at University of Moratuwa. Meanwhile, I work as a web developer at Vesess, a reputed internet media house based in Colombo.
Also I’m a great supporter of Free & Open Source Software. I participated in Google Summer of Code 2007, where I worked with Silverstripe CMS & Framework, a New Zealand based FOSS project.
About the Site
I maintain LakTEK blog to share my thoughts and resources with rest of you. I started this blog back in April 2006 and what you currently see is the version 2 of the site. Since I’m not a great designer, this site may not have much aesthetic appeal. But my major focus was to present a site consistent and simple to use by everybody.
