But just check, you might be able to get the MoT's WLAN. But still as far as I know, all the operational links are limited within the uni (I mean limited area within the uni it self). But since you just joined, you would be able to make use of the 1km WLAN thats planned. (I still doubt it if a laptop can transmit that far ). P:S: good luck getting used to the uni culture, once you do, you'll love it.
